Now we are waiting on another USCIS approval. We have sent them a packet called an I800 which will give us permission to adopt these specific boys. This process usually takes 2-3 weeks...so we wait...again.

Letter of Acceptance
So we have been patiently...ish waiting for our Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from China for 65 days and we got the call from our wonderful agency on Friday telling us they had our LOA's for both boys!!! On Saturday we received the LOA's as well as I 800 packets for the boys for our signatures. We had a tiny snag on one of the LOA's because it listed one of the boys as a girl. Apparently typos are not uncommon but they do cause some delays because we had to request a new LOA from China with the correct gender before the next step could be completed. We had heard this could take up to two more weeks to get the corrected form but we received the call today that we had the new form already!!! So our I 800 packet was mailed to the USCIS for their approval and an e-mail was sent with the corrected LOA and now we are back in the game!
